Wander & Roam is a brand we adore. We think you will too; here’s the story of this extraordinary company:
Megan, the founder of Wander & Roam and mama to three, realized after having her first baby that as babies crawl and walk, they stumble and fall. And they stumble and fall a lot! Since she had a house full of hardwood floors, she looked for something to soften those falls.
She started with foam tiles but found them hard to clean, especially on the edges. Second, she tried a fabric cover mat. However, with the laundry piling up, it was hard to keep up with washing the cover every few days when it needed it. Then, when her second child was a few months old, she set out to find a one-piece foam surface for him to wander and roam while taking a few falls in the process. What she was met with was play mats filled with toxic chemicals. This simply would not do. Therefore, she created the wander mat. Her mat is a one-piece, non-toxic, super soft spot for babies, toddlers, and kids to wander & roam.
